Position Type:
Postdoctoral
Position Description:
Toxins have unequal effects on various organs and cell types within the organism. To explore these responses, we are taking a single-cell gene-expression profiling approach to understand the differences in responses among cell types in the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster. We seek a lead person for this project. Working knowledge of Drosophila and/or molecular biology is highly desirable. Please contact Brian Oliver (briano@nih.gov) if you are interested in this fully funded position.
A Ph.D. degree is required. Applicants should have no more than five years of postdoctoral experience, although exceptional candidates with more experience will be considered.
The NIH is dedicated to building a diverse community in its training and employment programs.
